The Right Side of Your Body Spiritual Meaning (& Why I Check Every Time I Get Hurt)

I've become one of those people who, the second I get hurt, pulls up AI to ask about the right side of body spiritual meaning before I even grab a band-aid. It's just become part of how I process things now.
It started small. A thorn in my bare foot. Then, about a month later, a patch of mosquito bites on the exact same side of my body. Nothing dramatic, just two annoying little things that lined up in a way I couldn't ignore.
Here's what I found, and what it's taught me to actually pay attention to.
Right Side vs Left Side, In Plain English
Before I get into my story, here's the simple version so this makes sense.
In a lot of spiritual traditions, your body has two sides that mean different things:
Right side = what you're putting out. Your energy, your actions, what you're giving off to the world around you.
Left side = what you're taking in. What you're receiving, absorbing, letting affect you.
So when something keeps happening on one specific side, it's worth asking what that side is trying to tell you. That's it, that's the whole concept. Nothing fancy.

The Thorn and the Bug Bites
One day I stepped on a thorn, barefoot, and it went straight into my right foot. What made me pause was the mood I was in that day. I just wasn't in a good headspace.
About a month later, I got eaten up by mosquitoes, but only on my right knee. Not both legs. Just the right side, again. And when I actually looked back at that day, I realized I'd been in the same kind of mood. Not a good one.
That's when it clicked for me: the energy I'm putting out is what keeps landing back on my right side. Both times, I was giving off something I wasn't proud of, and both times, my body found a way to get my attention on that exact side.
Now anytime something happens on my right side specifically, I ask myself what I've been putting out lately, before I even think about what it "means" in some bigger cosmic sense.
Where I Take This a Little Deeper
I do look at my Vedic and Chinese astrology chart when I want to go further with this stuff, since both of those systems get really specific about how your energy tends to move through your body. But you genuinely don't need a chart to start noticing your own patterns. My thorn and my mosquito bites weren't chart related at all. I just paid attention.
If you want to look at your own Vedic and Chinese chart, that's exactly what the Astral Root Blueprint is.
And to be honest with you, not every little injury is a sign. Sometimes a bug just bites you because you were standing outside at dusk. The goal isn't to turn every paper cut into a therapy session, it's just to notice when a pattern is actually a pattern.
Your body is honestly one of the most honest friends you have. It'll tell you the truth even when you don't want to hear it, you just have to be willing to listen instead of explaining it away.
Has this ever happened to you, where the same side of your body keeps getting hit and you can't ignore it anymore? Tell me about it, I want to hear your version of the thorn and mosquito story.
